Rebel Wilson has made global headlines after dropping multiple dress sizes as part of her “year of health” weight loss mission.
Now, the fitness trainer who has been working with the Aussie actress to help her achieve her incredible body transformation has shared some of his secrets.

During an appearance on Sunrise, Jono Castano revealed some of the tips for losing fat and maintaining weight loss that he gave to the Pitch Perfect star.
The Sydney-based trainer said working out at least five days a week, sticking to a regular routine and balancing good and bad foods so you don’t resent the process are some of the most important steps.
“Balance is the key and that’s what we focused on,” Castano said of his work with Rebel.

“You’ve got to enjoy the process. If you create too many restrictions then you’re not going to enjoy it.”
In a recent Instagram post, Rebel emphasised this point.
“Remember though girls, you still gotta treat yourself (I just do it with food now only once or twice a week…and substitute bubble baths on alternate nights),” she captioned a post of her eating a dessert.

Castano also said the “simple stuff” can often achieve the best results.
He said he’s a big believer in the importance of doing at least 45 minutes of exercise every single day.
“I’m a big believer in 45-daily… it’s about just moving for 45 minutes.”
“A simple walk, swim or whatever it is.. we can all walk for at least 45 minutes a day!”

The celebrity trainer also said that setting a regular exercise routine and sticking to it is incredibly important for achieving your fitness goals.
“If you don’t have any structure, prepare to fail,” he said.
Earlier this year, Wilson made a New Year’s resolution to ditch her unhealthy eating habits and kickstart a new fitness journey.
The 40-year-old star, once known for her curvy figure, has been dedicated to her exercise regime and has already lost more than 20kg as a result.
Wilson said her goal was to weigh-in at 75kg by the end of the year.
“She wanted to make 2020 her ‘Year of Health’ and, as you can see from all of the social media posts she’s doing, she’s living it and doing a great job,” Castano said.
