Better Sleep: A Holistic Approach: This four-part workshop, led by YMCA yoga instructor Barbara Polowy, will share three tools to improve sleep quality and duration: gentle stretching to release tension in the body, breathing practices to quiet the nervous system, and guided relaxation to reduce stress and encourage deep rest in body and mind. Polowy will discuss behaviors known to affect sleep and teach participants to track and analyze their own sleep patterns. Prior to the start of the program, Polowy will be in touch for an initial intake assessment. Zoom information will be emailed once you register. Held on Mondays from Oct. 26 to Nov. 16 via Zoom. $40 for YMCA members; $60 for non-members. For more information, contact Barbara Polowy at [email protected] Register online at your-y.org or call the Welcome Center at 413-773-3646, ext. 0.
