Emily Simpson recently shed more than 15 pounds. The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member has been open about the fact that her weight-loss journey entailed “ups and downs,” as well as “gains and losses.” And, she’s the first to admit that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to getting fit. But the mom of three is still willing to share her own personal tips with anyone who asks.
In a recent Ask Me Anything thread on Instagram, a follower wrote in to ask Emily for some diet wisdom. When the fan requested her “best trick to help with losing weight,” the Real Housewife shared some simple tips. “[Don’t] eat past 6 pm and drink lots of water,” she wrote. “Try it for a week. You’ll see a difference!”
The Ohio native has shared more about her new eating plan in the past. In September, she told another fan on Instagram: “I don’t count calories…that’s too much work for me. I just keep staples in my refrigerator at all times: ground turkey, spinach/lettuce, eggs, avocados, tomatoes, shredded carrots, black beans, corn tortillas, salsa [,] vegan cheese (I avoid dairy)…etc.”
